Sumit Gupta

Sumit joined Kedaara Capital in October 2024 and has over 18 years of experience primarily encompassing the full life cycle of private equity in India, with 15+ investments and multiple exits. At Kedaara Capital, Sumit leads the healthcare and pharma vertical.

Prior to joining Kedaara Capital, Sumit was the Managing Director and IC member at InvAscent , life sciences focused PE Fund with AUM ~ USD 750 Mn and spent over ten years with the firm. Some of the investments he led and was on the Board of include Synergia Life Sciences, Biorad Medisys, Symbiotec Pharmalab, Inventia Healthcare, Sunways India, Accumax Lab Devices, Pregna International and Maiva Pharma.

Previously, he was part of the investment team at TA Associates, a leading growth-oriented global private equity firm and CX Partners, India focused PE fund. He started his career with investment banking and research at Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan.

Sumit holds an MBA from IIM Mumbai (Erst. NITIE) and a B. Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation from IET, Lucknow.
