Ashwin Jain

Ashwin joined Kedaara Capital in May 2022 and has over 15 years of experience in investing and financial markets. At Kedaara Capital, Ashwin drives thematic investing using alternate data and insights from across markets.

Prior to joining Kedaara Capital, Ashwin was an equity fund manager in the public markets investment team at ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company where he managed ~$300mn in assets. He has managed the Technology Fund, the Exports and Services Fund and the Retirement Fund. His portfolios were characterized by low turnover, concentrated holdings and high active shares leading to benchmark beating returns. He started his investing career as a technology sector analyst and subsequently was also responsible for investments in the telecoms, capital goods and real estate sectors.

Previously he has worked for Merrill Lynch in New York on their credit structing team and for S&P Global in their equity research team.

Ashwin received an MBA from IIM Bangalore and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University in Bangalore.
