Dr Hari Prasad is a veteran healthcare professional with over 3 decades of experience across the spectrum in healthcare delivery. As President, Apollo Group of Hospitals and Group Chairman of Quality Care India he created a niche for himself in clinical excellence, patient service standards, organizational performance and corporate governance. He has been a mentor and guide for a number of healthcare professionals in India and abroad. He is also considered to be the pioneer of emergency services in India and has been recognized by a number of organizations including society for Emergency Medicine, India, Royal College of Emergency Medicine, UK and International Federation for Emergency Medicine.

His journey parallels the growth of private healthcare in India and is known for his collaborative approach to managing healthcare delivery. Establishing greenfield hospitals, turning around hospital performance, developing and nurturing symbiotic partnerships and creating value through medical value travel to India have been his forte.  During his stint at Apollo Hospitals, the group grew from 1,000 beds to over 10,000 beds.
