Rahul Mehta

Rahul joined Kedaara Capital in January 2018 and has over 10 years of experience encompassing full life cycle of private equity – investing, portfolio management and exits.

He focuses on evaluating investment opportunities in Financial Services. Over the course of last few years, he has also evaluated and led investments in Consumer, Healthcare / Pharma, Industrials and IT. Some of the investments Rahul has worked on include Aavas Financiers, CARE Health, Dairy Day, Vijaya Diagnostics, Parksons Packaging, Ajax, Ami Lifesciences, GAVS and GS Labs.

Prior to joining Kedaara Capital, Rahul worked as an Associate in the Global Advisory division of Rothschild & Co’s Mumbai office. He joined Rothschild & Co. in 2014 and primarily focused on cross-border M&A and equity advisory. Previously, he worked in the Investment Banking Division of HDFC Bank, India’s largest private sector bank and EY India (Ernst & Young) in their Assurance practice.

Rahul is a Chartered Accountant (from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) and a CFA Level 3 candidate (CFA Institute, U.S.A.). He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University.
